Student Housing Current Projects

Below are the current projects that Stonegate Developers are involved in.  From small-scale projects with only 36 beds to large-scale projects with 580 beds, and from stick construction to mid-high rise developments, Stonegate is active in all aspects of student housing.  Our primary objective is to be adjacent to campus where students can easily live day to day without the need of a car.  All current projects are adjacent to campus.

UNC Chapel Hill, NC

Our newly proposed project at the University of North Carolina is located less than a half mile from the UNC campus on MLK JR., BLVD.  This multi-story project will encompass a wide range of rooms from a 1 bedroom studio unit to a 4 bedroom unit.   Within easy walking distance of UNC, this site is also on the main transit line for Chapel Hill so tenants can easily access public transportation. This project will be designed to fully engage the local community.

Robins Ridge is a newly completed student housing project at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC.  This project is a 2-story villa type design with exposed wood and large open decks overlooking Howard's Knob Mountain.

Queen Street
(Redevelopment Project)

Queen Street is a recently purchased redevelopment project that is located in Boone, NC, one block from King Street and Appalachian State University.  Popular among students due to its proximity to both the university and the restaurant row in Boone, this project has enjoyed a 100% lease up history.
